Since I'm trying to get back into blogging, I thought I should let you guys know what I've been up to during my absence. So here's a little life update; lately I've been...

...enjoying my last quarter on campus. I can't believe how fast the time has flown.

 

...applying and interviewing for jobs like craaaazy. Including a quick little visit to Philly earlier this month. 

 

...helping my cousin plan her wedding! I'm so excited to be her maid of honor :)

 

...in a friendship bracelet-making frenzy. The 90's are so making a comeback! 

 

...counting down the days until I get to see this little guy again (this coming weekend!)

 

Hopefully posting will become a lot more regular around here again :)

Today I wanted to share more outfit pictures from vacation. One of my favorite things about spring and summer dressing is being able to mix bright colors. Ever since I got these pants, red + turquoise has been a go-to combination of mine (seen here and here). I like it because it's a little unexpected, but the two colors still complement each other really well. What is your favorite bright colored combination?

I've been itching to get back to blogging, so I figured this would be a good time to share some of my pictures from my vacation over spring break. Two friends and I went to Florida for a week, and it was incredibly relaxing. There is nothing like sun and sand to help you get a little perspective. I also enjoyed being able to wear some of my summery clothing that had been pushed to the back of the closet for far too long. Expect to see a lot more of these wedges this season; they were extremely under-utilized last spring and summer. Here are a few more snapshots from our vacation:

Neglected {Life Lately in Instagrams}

So although my blog has been quite neglected lately, I promise I'm still alive. This quarter has been incredibly hectic between classes, extracurriculars, and working 20+ hours a week. One of my New Years resolutions was to get back to regular outfit posting. Until that's possible, here's what's been up lately:

1. My spring break is booked!Plans to go to Florida with two girlfriends called for a trip to Target to get some new suits before all the good ones were gone.

2. Trying to get back into my workout routine. Project "spring break bod" started today!

3. I used some rare downtime last week to experiment with my nails. OPI's Pamplona Purple+Kardashian Collection for Nicole by OPI.

4. Still doing my best to live senior year to the fullest. Cheers to nights out with friends!

5. Consuming lots and lots of coffee. It's currently my first week of midterms, so sleep may be minimal.

6. All of the things I wish I was enjoying instead of studying. They'll be my reward when this week is over!

Throughout 2011, my sense of style has evolved considerably. To end the year, I wanted to share some of my favorite outfits from 2011.

I think my absolute favorite outfit of the year was "glamazon", followed by "half-way point" and "doing my research". I think these pictures really prove the evolution of my style. This year I experimented with lots of new looks such as colored denim, maxi skirts/dresses, and faux fur, all of which I was afraid to try before. I think spending a summer in New York City taught me to be fearless with fashion. Which of the outfits above is your favorite?
