So guys, I have a confession to make. And please, please don't hate me, buuuuuut....I already cheated on the 30 for 30 challenge. I'm actually kinda mad about it; here is what happened: I'm in a fashion organization on campus and every quarter we put on a fashion show at a local bar. I was just informed Monday that our theme for this quarter's show is "Putting on the Glitz", and all of the girls working it are supposed to wear sparkly, glitzy dresses. This presents a few problems. Problem #1: I had already included an outfit for this night in my 30 items, which clearly isn't going to work now. Problem #2: Definitely did not include any sparkly dresses in my 30 items. Problem #3: I don't even OWN a sparkly dress, therefore I had to shop. So basically by the time I'm finished, I will have cheated TWICE, by shopping and wearing something outside my 30 items. Not cool. Phewwww, I feel better now that I've come clean. Do you at least want to see the dress that has turned me into a big ol' cheater? I kind of love it (I ordered it online...fingers crossed it fits!)

Some people are only doing the challenge on weekdays. I'm only doing it 6 days a week. I left my options open for a freestyle day since i have dresses, cardigans, and skirts that I've never worn.
Um, yes please! That dress is amazing!
Don't feel bad for cheating...I don't think the purpose of the exercise is to enfore strict rules and send you to time out if you mess up...it's to get you to think outside the box with your outfits and think more about the purchases you make and how they fit into your wardrobe...plus have a little fun too! I say don't stress!
at least it's an amazing dress to cheat on ;-)
ahaha completely okay because my friend had to buy new heels for interviews...and i wore different clothes for going out! :)LOVE the sparklies- I wish I had a reason to get one bc I'm seeing these sequin numbers everywhere this season and I want it!!
Don't feel bad- the challenge is just for fun, and it isn't fun showing up drab when everyone is sparkling! Its funny, I actually did a post today about some amazing sequin dresses on etsy... great minds think alike.
im having a formal made for a military ball on dec 3, does that count as cheating? if so.. opps. we're in the same boat together :)
I LOVE sparkly dresses! And, well, don't worry, I won't tell anyone that you "cheated." :)
Very cute! A dress worth cheating for. Maybe in the future you can borrow something instead of buying! That's what I plan on doing if anything last minute comes up!
