What I'm wearing: J.Crew beaded cardigan, Old Navy long sleeved tee, J.Crew wool mini, Target tights, J.Crew flats, Tiffany's bracelet (gift), Self-made earrings

I'm officially half-way through the 30 for 30 challenge! This time around it's taking a particularly long time due to my class and work schedule, but I'm still have a lot of fun with it. Here are some of my thoughts so far on the 30 for 30 challenge, round 2:
1. It's a lot more fun remixing this time of year when there are so many layering options to choose from. Summer was a lot more challenging.
2. This challenge can actually make life much simpler. For instance, I wore the outfit above to my honor fraternity's end of the quarter banquet on Friday. Normally, I would have stressed over what to wear, but the decision is a lot easier when you only have 30 things to choose from.
3. So thankful I included my gray J.Crew flats; I'm not quite sure how I survived the last challenge without them!
4. I love how many fabulous fellow 30-for-30ers I've found through this challenge. I really love the sense of community that goes along with blogging!

Thanks for following Best Foot Forward and supporting me during my second 30 for 30 challenge. The last 15 days are always harder than the first, so keep the great support coming! You guys are the best :)

Day 15- DIY Heaven

Today my mom and I discovered my new favorite place on earth: a HUGE Michaels craft store 20 minutes away from our house. We have a few in our area, but this one was way better than the others. We stumbled upon it while trying to get these impossible-to-find colored pencils for my brother's art class; this massive Michaels seemed to be the only store that still had them in stock. I'm currently about to start a scrapbook of my New York City experience, so I got a couple of things for that, but I literally could have spent days (and millions of dollars) in this store. I definitely will be heading back soon to get some supplies for some DIY projects. Did anyone see the whole DIY section in the September issue of Instyle? Amazzzzing!

Half way there! Overall, I would say this week was better than the last two. I feel like every week I'm slowly improving and getting the hang of this challenge.

I honestly don't know which look I like best from week 3. Do you have a favorite?
